Sempai here. It might seem a bit gauche, but I’m going to shill for a website now. I don’t feel bad about it, though. I’m introducing it to you because they have provided me with a near-endless supply of fappable material for years.

A Not-So-Brief History of Fap
Let me take you back to the year 2013. Seems just about forever ago, doesn’t it?
At that point, I’d been in Japan for almost 10 years. All of my purchases of ero-manga in Japan to that point had been physical copies of various ero-manga tankobon and dojinshi. Of course, that ignores the monthly releases of anthology ero-manga you could find in just about any convenience store, some of which I also picked up as a matter of course. This created a problem. You see, at the time I moved around fairly regularly. Thus far during my time in Japan I’d changed jobs every couple of years.

What can I say? I get bored easily. So, I would seek out new places, people and experiences every few years. That change of jobs required that I move, often a sizeable distance across Japan.
Now, trying to move even my fairly humble (at that point) ero-manga collection in addition to all of the other stuff I had just added to the moving bill. It also meant I had to look for apartments with enough room to stash away all of my pervy goods.
I will note that it’s been my experience that women are generally open to a man’s porn’s collection. Well, if it meshes with their own interests, at least. However, and this is important, women usually don’t want said porn collection staring them in the face, even if they’re ostensibly cool with it. Probably some sort of competitive thing. I mean, I’ve had girlfriends who saw my ero-manga collection as a challenge or an insult, though they also seemed to have some personal issues.
That’s not intended as a dig. We all have various personal issues. But, I mean, it’s kind of weird, right? I feel like they don’t understand that, yes, every man like 2D boobies, but that’s because every man likes boobies, full stop. And yes, we love looking at pictures of boobies, but having actual boobies in our face wins hands down every time. I mean, it’s not even a contest, but they don’t quite understand that. Weird, right?
Aside: Shh! Don’t tell women that; they might think they’ve won when they put titties in our faces. I mean, yes, they have, but it’s important that they don’t know it! Ok?! Moving on…
Suffice it to say, for a variety of reasons I’d made the decision to primarily purchase digital goods. Not just ero-manga, either. At that point my legally purchased MP3 collection was almost as big as my CD collection. I was hoping to do the same with my ero-manga collection.
But, at the time, where could one buy digital ero-manga?
Enter The Internet
As I’ve mentioned numerous times before, I’m not going to pretend I haven’t taken advantage of pirated sources of media (including ero-manga) over the years. However, I generally prefer to support the people making the media I consume when I can. But where can an innocent, fun-loving pervert find digital ero-manga volumes that would pay the artist for their hard work?
Around that time, I came across fansubs of HHH: Triple H. As a hentai anime, it was stupid over-the-top, but in that good way. You know what I mean.
To answer you question, yes; I also watch hentai. Duh. If you haven’t already figured that out, I think there’s something wrong with you. Anyway, if you’ve been reading Manga After Dark for any length of time, you know that stupid over-the-top (among other things) is kind of my bag. More than that, it was only on checking the credits that I learned it was based on an ero-manga by DISTANCE.

Having enjoyed the fansub, I decided to play my part and looked towards buying the manga. Now, it was fairly easy to find physical copies of the tankobon (which I did, of course, buy), but, as I’ve noted already, I was hoping to find a place for digital ero-manga fappage.
A quick Google search for it led me to several pirate sites that, I’ll be honest, I already knew about and had visited before. It also featured a link to a website: DLsite. Now, this was over 10 years ago and while I was well into the depths of my ero-manga addiction, it was the first time I’d heard of the site.
Even then, on visiting I knew DLsite was something special because it not only had a bunch of digital volumes, but it had a whole bunch more, because DLsite doesn’t specialize. It’s kind of like Amazon, back in the day when Amazon only sold media. If you wanted doujinshi, they had it. If you wanted manga, they had it. And not just adult stuff, either; they had all ages materials!
(And some of that all ages material isn’t really all ages, if you catch my drift.)

Something for Everybody (including monoglots)
Since then, it’s only grown bigger. Now, DLsite has video games, audio dramas, anime and more. And these days they do even more, with support for a variety of languages. In fact, that’s the biggest reason I’m presenting this site to you, loyal onanists; these days, DLsite supports multiple languages, including English. I mean, I’m comfortable surfing the web in Japanese, but for those of you who just want to jerk it and not stretch your brain, DLsite has your back.
Because it’s not just the site that has English. Now they even have English ero-manga! Thanks to that, every day can be faptastic for our English-only followers! (Not that, you know, you need to understand everything to get off to dirty pictures, but it can help.)
But a cool thing is that if you want professionally licensed and translated English ero-manga, you can buy it from DLsite. I will say the English titles are kind of dumb and long. However, they are faithful translations; the Japanese titles themselves are kind of dumb and long. I don’t know if it is the artist’s choice or the editor’s choice, but a lot of ero-manga and adult videos in Japan have really dumb, long titles that overexplain the premise.
On the plus side, you often know exactly what you’re getting. A title like Strokin’ the Love Muffin (a cookie to you if you get the reference) might give you some hints to it’s contents. A title like My Sister is My Girlfriend!? Sexual Relationship for Two Nights and Three Days, on the other hand, spells things out much more clearly.

Now, to be sure, there is a limitation to this, and that’s that I have never heard of any of the mangaka who make these manga. That’s not a judgement on whether they’re good or not; they seem totally jerk worthy in that regard from the samples I’ve read. But if you’re hoping to get something from top professional ero-mangaka, like a lot of the stuff we showcase on Manga After Dark, it just isn’t available in English (yet).
Multilingual Doujinshi, too!
Having said that, there are some other options for English (and some Chinese, Korean, and Spanish-speaking innocent pervs – among others – as well). You see, one of DLsite’s great pushes these days is to try and get a lot of amateur (i.e., doujin) manga translated – and translated well – by fans of ero-manga into a variety of languages using their Translators Unite service.

It’s pretty easy to sign up, and they accept translators from all over the world. If you think you’ve got the chops, you can try your hand at translating ero-manga (and regular doujin as well). If people buy your translated manga, you get a cut of the sale.
There are only two problems with it. First, the multilingual ero-manga is limited to doujinshi only. Second, not all of the doujinshi is multilingual. Some of it is only available in Japanese. Either it hasn’t been translated yet, or the author hasn’t signed up to take part in the service. Some it it only has translations in a non-English language.
But, it should be worth noting that any of the translated stuff should be completely legal in your country. The translations are generally faithful, but are adapted to remove anything that makes it illegal in another country. For example, there’s a lot of doujin that features schoolgirls of various ages. That’s fine (maybe fine isn’t the right word, because there’s stuff that’s creepy, even for me) in Japan, where they recognize that fiction is, you know, not real. But, more to the point, in the translation they are aged up so they are legal in your country.

Tits and Ass for Everyone!
I assume most of you are here because you like to beat your meat or flick your bean to dirty comics. If you aren’t someone who who gets your rocks off to ero-manga, how in the hell did you get here? I mean, you are totally welcome here as long as you’re not here to judge, but I’m having a hard time picturing how you ended up here.
But, however you ended up here, intentionally or otherwise, it doesn’t really matter.
This is a wild world we live in, and tits and ass makes everything better. If you’re here, you probably agree. Are real tits and ass better than 2D tits and ass? If those tits and ass are right in your face, yeah. Duh! But otherwise, if it’s on a screen or in a book, I’d say one is as good as the other.
That’s why I love DLsite. It’s a site I have personally been using for over a decade and it is one of the best sites for digital ero-manga (and games, and videos, and more) around. Whatever your interest is, they can accommodate it, and unlike some sites I use, they actively welcome overseas readers, which is why I’m happy to introduce you to them.
